About The Podcast Network
The Podcast Network (TPN) is a privately-owned media company headquartered in Melbourne, Australia. With over half a million monthly listeners we are one of the largest independent media companies in Australia and one of the largest new media companies in the world.
We were proud to be named one of the ECONTENT 100 (2006), EContent Magazine’s list of the most influential digital content companies in the world, and B&T Magazine’s Biggest Players of Australia’s Digital Age. You can view some of these press articles about TPN at this link: TPN PRESS.
We think that together, under a common media brand, we can achieve more than we might as individuals. United as a force, podcasters can cut deals with distribution and advertising partners that we would struggle to find alone. We share our experiences, the risks and the rewards. TPN was the world’s first podcasting business when we launched in February 2005 and we’ve learned a lot since then about what works and what doesn’t when it comes to podcasting. Today we have over half a million monthly listeners and have served over 4 million podcasts. Some of our podcasters are making hundreds and even thousands of dollars a month from sponsorship deals but it isn’t about the money. It’s about providing bloody good stuff for your ears and eyes and brains. If we can do that well enough, we believe the rest will follow.
If you are a podcaster wanting to join TPN, please read our Getting Started site.
