LOOK BOTH WAYS wins AFI Awards
LOOK BOTH WAYS, the little Aussie film that Belinda and I attended the Premiere of back in July, last night won the Best Director and Best Screenplay award at the AFI Awards. Congratulations to Melbourne-based Writer/Director Sarah Watt!
How cool is Nick Cave though - he was also nominated for the screenplay he wrote for THE PROPOSITION (which I haven’t managed to see yet but the reviews are terrific….). He wrote it in a couple of weeks. Legend.
Two other Aussie legends, Hugo Weaving and Cate Blanchett, won the Best Actor and Best Actress awards for their brilliant performances in LITTLE FISH.
