Yes it;s that time of year again. The Eurovision Song Contest is upon on u on this side of the Atlantic, and it’s time for my celebration of the contest, the ethos, and the feeling by playing no music from the contest, no second songs from the artist, and no relation to the actual contest beyond the name.
But it’s still going to be a superbly silly TPN Rock show.
Yes, yes, yes. I know I said I’d make the whole week, but hey, I got crock on Friday lunchtime. SO you get the show, you get some great music, but you’re gonna get it a little later (by a day) and with a little less me
Mike Borgia, finally, gets his session on TPN Rock. Recorded last month, this singer songwriter has been a personal favourite of mine since I played ‘When The Bombs Come’ back on The Friday Rock Show #52, and is one of the songs that I use in my warm up routine (which if you listened to some of the live shows during April, you’d already realise). Anyway, three tracks, introduced by Mike, from his new album Philistines and Alcoholics.
And we’re back. Honestly this time. Really. For Sure. Not going to have server problems in May. No sirreee… The only problem at the moment is a backlog of cracking tunes to play, so let’s not hang around, lets get started.
Another week, but we’re back on course to keep you smiling, with Rowley Cutler picking up the slack and banishing the Monday Blues away in the best way possible. As to you, dear listener, answer this question… Should I forgive Rowley for his “[Ewan's] a little shorter than I expected…” comment?
This was second of our scheduled ‘live recording’ shows where you can have an early preview of TPN Rock’s Friday Rock Show by loading up the stream - don’t worry if you missed it, I’ll post up a reminder for next week’s time on Thursday. The show itself is definitly a happy bouncing one, and full of some strong anthems and melodies. One to clear the floor beforehand so you can start moshing away. Enjoy!
