Rent a podcaster!

Calling all marketing managers!

For the last couple of months, we’ve been working on various “podcaster-for-hire” projects (with several large corporate clients we can’t mention yet) and we’re ready to offer our services more widely.

Why podcast?

Podcasting is a powerful tool for building stronger relationships with your users/customers/clients. It facilitates conversations. It is more intimate that print, billboards or TV. It’s also the hottest thing on the planet (okay, aside from Britney Spears’ sex life while pregnant).

How would you use podcasting?

Here’s a quick range of examples:

  • You are running a conference and you want to record “behind the scenes” conversations with your speakers that attendees can listen to at their own convenience after they return home. Get a higher return on your conference!
  • You have customers/users/clients/partners spread out around the country/globe and you want to provide them with a focused weekly audio show that carries in-depth discussions and interviews about your products or services.
  • You have a team of sales people around the country/globe and you want to provide them with a focused weekly audio show that carries in-depth discussions and interviews about sales techniques and success stories.

Why hire a podcaster?

There aren’t many professional podcasters. We are amongst a small handful of people around the world who do this for a living, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and have been producing podcasts full-time for six months (not bad for a medium that’s only ten months old). We’ve got hundreds of hours of podcast programming under our belts.

Professional podcasters know how to produce high quality audio programming, quickly and cost-effectively, by using the latest in PC technology. We also know how to distribute your show to tens of thousands of listeners around the world within hours.

Although podcasting may look easy to the untrained eye, it is actually takes some skill (and a little daring) to put together on-the-fly audio interviews that are engaging, entertaining and stimulating. We’ve been perfecting our chops for a while. We make it seem easier than it really is.

The Podcast Network also has a growing team of hosts who have domain expertise in a wide variety of subjects. Many of these hosts are available for hire if you want someone to put together a show for you that can speak the language of your industry.

Cool! I really wondered if this was something that you would be interested in doing.
Not sure if you want to go out and sell this (i.e. cold call people) but can I suggest a couple of Organizations you might want to contact:
    1) AFL/Telstra: There almost there but just don’t get RSS (Maybe this is one that I would like to see rather then one you would be able to get).
    2) NBL (national Basketball League) - Lacking in media coverage, so hey, make your own. Other bonus in the sell, the NBA (US major league) have started to Podcast
    3) Soccer/Football Australia/A-League (who ever the hell they are now): Soccer (you should have a Soccer show!! The world game!!!!) is looking to grow in Australia and again find it hard to get media coverage.

Just some thoughts. Do you have a Fact sheet?
    Molly

I’m available anytime the NBL is.
